The End of Ancient Valor

TANGERANG – Show Your Brain On Science, Link Your Imagination On Sport Art and Culture. Sonic Linguistic 2014 was over. This

big event got a big attention by public in Indonesia. Started in 22 & 23 February and continued to 1 & 2 May 2014, the participant of this event reached until 1700 participant. Devided by 4 subdivisions event (Language competition, Jurnalistic competition, Science and Technology competiton, and also Sport Art and Culture competition ), it had 22 total competition in whole subdivisions.

Actually, Sonic Linguistic started since 2006, but it name still linguistic ( without sonic

). But, in 2008, it changed into Sonic Linguistic ( Added by Sonic or Show Your Brain on Science ). And the unique of this event was the theme that changed every year, but that theme still had a relation between one theme to another theme. Like Disaster ( Sonic Lingustic 2010’s theme ), the storyline was still continued to the next Sonic Linguistic 2011 which had a theme about Wildlife, and still continued until this year which had a theme about Ancient Valor.

“ In fact, we just want to make our event uncommon. If you pay attention to another events in Indonesia, most of these has a boring theme, like Indonesian Culture, World War, Youth Spirit, and another common theme,” said Gilang Al-Ghifari Lukman as Chief of Sonic Linguistic,” people will be bored if we don’t have an innovation.”.

                And do you know? All committees of this event was only from student of MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong, and without teacher’s help. Sonic Linguistic or Sonlis, was an agenda from OSIS Insan Cendekia Serpong. This Organization was a vital organization in this school. Because approximately 60% from events in school was a program form this organization.
